FREDERICK GEORGE von der PFORDTEN

Not much being told about my late great grand father, FREDERICK GEORGE von der PFORDTEN. However, from what I have been told, he is the eldest son to BARON KARL LUDWIG HEINRICH FREIHERR von der PFORDTEN. He was born in 1847 as a Roman Catholic. He owned a Cable Company that moved to stay at various places. Finally he moved to Singapore and married my great grand mother, Agusta Pell, who was born in 1848. They have six children from their marriage;




1. BLANCE PFORDTEN (unmarried).
2. FREDERICK BERNETT PFORDTEN (BEN)
3. CHARLES HERBERT PFORDTEN (unmarried)
4. GLADYS PFORDTEN
5. LILY PFORDTEN
6. ARTHUR REGINALD PFORDTEN

Nelly, the youngest married at the age of 70 and died during the Second World War in Malta. Blance, Ben and Lily were not told of their marriage. We do not know what really happen to them. However, we are still gathering information about them.

Frederick passed away in 1910 and soon after that Agusta had to moved together with the daughters to Malta. Her last knowing address was "Kilravock", 20 Stella Marie, Sliema, Malta. Agusta died in 1920 in Malta.
